In high-performance power generation systems, rotating components such as turbine generator rotors must meet extremely demanding requirements. Even a small machining deviation can affect rotational stability, aerodynamic performance, and long-term reliability.
Our customer is a mid-sized oil and gas company that develops and integrates its own generator systems for specialized power applications. They were looking for a manufacturing partner capable of producing a lightweight, high-strength precision rotor with strict dimensional control, advanced surface finishing, and dynamic balancing capability.
The project required more than standard CNC machining. The rotor needed to combine aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, complex geometry, high-speed rotation performance, and mirror-like surface finishing.
