Mechanical parts, especially those manufactured through CNC machining, often require surface treatments to enhance durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal. Among these treatments, anodizing is one of the most widely used processes, particularly for aluminum components. However, not all anodizing is created equal. Two common types, Type II (sulfuric acid) anodizing and Type III (hard anodizing), differ significantly in performance, appearance, and application. In this article, we explore these differences and highlight how Honscn leverages advanced manufacturing techniques to provide superior anodized parts for various industries.
